They were separating caustic fluids and sludges with metal chips; they needed a basket that could solve the following problems:

1. Thicker materials and heavier handle for removal by crane.
2. Mesh that would allow flow but not lose the chips.
3. A way to collect metal chips in the sludge, which the client was throwing away (losing money).

• Durability: We selected a heavier gauge perforation and wire mesh capable of withstanding high pressures and corrosive fluids, ensuring a longer service life.
• Functionality: A reinforced handle was integrated, robust enough to be maneuvered by a crane, simplifying the removal process during maintenance.
• Innovation in Recovery: The true innovation came with the addition of a removable brass rod fitted with twelve strategically placed neodymium magnets. This setup was designed to attract and capture ferrous shavings and chips, turning waste into valuable recyclable material.
